Meeting Pastor Lonnie Prove changed the way I see ministry to the masses. When he shared how he spent the first quarter of his life incarcerated, it opened my eyes to the power of God’s redemption. I first heard Lonnie’s voice through my son, who listened to Lonnie every night before going to sleep. From that moment on, my wife and I supported the ministry with our whole hearts. The truth is, if my son had not been incarcerated, our paths might never have crossed. But God used that painful season to connect us with a ministry that has blessed our entire family.
Because they give people the knowledge they need to know who OUR LORD AND SAVIOR is, and how to trust in him because GOD is always our help !!!
I listened to Oasis for years and was Encouraged by the calls and testimonies of family members taking out time to give shoutouts to their loved ones behind the walls and I was also touched too. The main cry I heard was from the women and children who are missing their incarcerated loved ones and the hardships they’re encountering without them. I had the privilege of meeting Pastor Lonnie Provo AND IT WAS A BLESSING. Please
Support Oasis that they may continue to do what they’re doing today and in the future. God Bless You.
Oasis is a source of inspiration and encouragement for those who are incarcerated and their loved ones. When visitation isn’t possible Oasis is there so the men and women who are incarcerated can hear the voices of those they love.
When my daughter went to prison my heart broke. I live in Kentucky and she’s incarcerated in Texas and visitation was not always possible. She called and asked me if I could get station KKHT. I did and I listened. What a blessing. I could call the station and give a shout out, read scripture, tell a joke, pray and even sing a hymn to her and whoever is listening. It’s a blessing to be able to reach out and let the Lord use me to help the inmates. The man, Pastor Provo, has been a gift that I thank the Lord for.
